Incomplete Dominance

A heterozygous condition that results in an intermediate phenotype rather that the experession of a dominant allele. 

A common is example is that of flower coloration, see image posted below. Some flower species can range in color due to incomplete dominance. Thus, gene expression in of both alleles.
