Mutualism is when two species coexist and are mutually beneficial to eachother in order to survive.
There are three types of these interspecies relationships:
Service - Resource - When one species provides a service and the other a resource. ie: Hummingbirds pollenate nector flowers as they gain nutrients.
Service - service: When two species exchange services. ie: Sea Snemone and Clowfish. They protect eachother from predetors.
Resource - resource: When two species exchange resources with one another for seperate beneficial purposes. ie: Fungus and root plants. Fungus takes the carbohydrates from the roots and gives nitorgen in return.
